Potato Scones

These potato scones are
very tasty served with honey or syrup when fresh.

2 cups boiled mashed potatoes, 1 cup flour, 3 tablespoons
melted butter, 1/2 teaspoon salt

Add the melted butter to
the mashed potatoes and the salt,
then add as much flour as the potatoes will take without becoming
too dry.
Turn out on to a floured surface and roll until finger thick,
then cut into circles.
Prick all over with a fork.
Wipe a pan over with greased paper before cooking starts, then cook
the scones on both sides until golden brown turning once.
