Reindeer in Scotland

Last year (August 2006) Terry and I spent our holidays in Scotland (what’s new ?!). One day we visited the Cairngorm Reindeer Centre. A guide takes you up into the Cairngorms to visit Britain’s only herd of reindeer, free ranging in the mountains. These reindeer are tame and very friendly. The guide gives you some information about them, then the guide calls them, they come from all over and you can feed and stroke them.

It was a great experience !
